Consultant wanted to promote the Welsh Museums Festival

The Federation of Museums and Art Galleries of Wales is seeking a consultant/freelancer to lead the marketing and communications work to promote the Welsh Museums Festival (2023 and 2024).

Deadline

Deadline for submission of tenders is 5pm Wednesday 19th July.

Interviews will be held on Friday 28th July 2023.

We would ideally like the successful candidate to be available to start work on the project during August but no later than Monday 4th September.

Fee

The fee for this package of works is fixed at £29,000 (this must include all costs - travel expenses, contractor costs, VAT if applicable, etc.). This must also include an allocation to procure and send Festival materials and resources to museums (previous Festivals have distributed bunting, posters, stickers and pencils).

NB: We have funding for festivals in October 2023 and October 2024. Ideally we would like the same person/agency to cover both festivals including the evaluation after the event. However we recognise that there may need to be a period of review on both sites after the first one. The £29K is to cover each festival – so £29K for 2023 and then a further £29K for 2024.
